Set aside some time to make a list
of the values you want to pass on to your children |
|
Start a journal on your computer entitled “Love
Letters from Momma” (or Dad) and write a
note to your children every day before you get
‘on line’ |
|
Begin a prayer journal with each of your children-write
down their prayers every night before they go
to sleep |
|
Have fun with your family, and watch for natural
opportunities to talk about what’s right
and what’s wrong |
|
Bring back family dinner time |
|
Get involved in a share group of parents with
like-minded values |
|
Talk casually and consistently with your children |
|
Children are like sponges, they absorb our values
and perceptions |
|
Realize that your children will not buy a “do-as-I-say”,
“not-as-I-do” philosophy Honestly
examine your own life |
|
Do not waste your valuable time watching movies
that offend your values, and instruct your children
to do the same |
|
Above all, really show your children how much
you love them, never forget, they can be taken
at any time! |
